The Esser 660 boom pipe is a reinforced pipe that lasts five times longer than a single-layer hardened boom pipe, making it an economical solution for conveying material with a normal transfer rate and/or average abrasion rate. This reliable, wear resistant pipe reflects over 25 years of continuous technological improvements.
This Esser 660 boom pipe is supplied with a total wall thickness of 0.16 inches (4.0mm) or 0.18 inches (4.5mm), and is fitted with two patented Esser 660 flanges that absorb more wear because of increased thickness in the insert. The Esser 660 has a hardness of up to 63 HRc throughout the entire pipe length and the full depth of 0.08 inches (2.0mm) or 0.10 inches (2.5mm) of the inner layer.
Every Esser 660 boom pipe component meets or exceeds the specifications of all of the concrete pump manufacturers for wall thickness, inner and outer diameter tolerances, weight restrictions, working pressure ratings and safety requirements.
